In order to make an organization better, an agency must be committed to systematically improving the performance and accountability of everyone, especially those who are the poorest performers. GAR, Inc. offers a one-of-a-kind course on leadership development called “Raising the Tide” that focuses your supervisory team – every ranking member from first line supervisor up - on identifying their own strengths and opportunities for better leadership.
What we do is not just training, but a facilitation to identify specific agency behaviors. It is a very interactive, team-building exercise and everyone in the room gets to equally contribute to the future of leadership in the organization. At the end of the session, each person leaves with personal commitments to change their own behaviors, and more importantly, the group identifies and agrees on common organizational leadership behaviors that they will all, individually and collectively, be a part of changing.
The facilitation is for fifteen to fifty participants for a minimum of one full day. An additional two- to four-hour follow-up session the next day will greatly enhance understanding and commitment to the goals.
